Continuing with my autumn theme I'd like to share yet another image from my spooky forest shoot in the Messes mountains of north-west Romania. The Messes mountain range forms part of the Transylvanian Plateau, sandwiched between the Eastern and Western Carpathian Mountains.

I used a series of adjustment layers in an attempt to even the exposure a bit in this image... with only moderate success. I changed the frame because my eye went to it first because it is so high contrast. If it were my image I would want the viewer to see first the wonderful crooked tree against the yellows. I think the width of the original frame competes with that tree. Just a personal opinion.... of course. : )
