THREE STRIPED PALM SQUIRRELS (Funambulus Palmarum)

This is on of the most common animals found in India and now much dependent on human beings for shelter and food, It is a pleasure to watch the activities of this cute animal.

In India the squirrel has mythological background for the association with Lord Rama.

I found this one sitting on the branch of a tree in the nearby garden. After trying some shots finally i was able to take one proper shot.

This image has been taken with Sigma 70-300, handheld, the image has been resized, raw to jpeg and framed.

I used CS3 to slightly enhance your photo.
-Altered colour balance
-Increased contrast
-Added saturation
-Selectively sharpened
-Adjusted levels
-Painted over eye and put my own highlight in (not a very good one though!)

une retouche de contraste et luminosité,et un essai pour diminuer l'effet yeux "rouge".
