For Annick (36)

This image is not technically great, but awhile ago I posted an Pronghorn standing and in the note I mentioned they can reach speeds of 100 kilmeters per hour. Well Annick (vanderschelden) said I should get a shot of one going that fast, well he may not be going 100 but probably 60. So this is for you Annick I'm sorry it's not superior quality, but you do get to see how they obtain that speed with thier long strides. When they are going faster thier heads are held lower.

Hi Rick
I've done a slight enhancement to bump up the colour saturation and also the sharpness and to remove the slight smokiness on the photo.
Post Processing done:
1. Adjusted "Levels" on the "Histogram" by increasing the "Input Levels" of the "Black" slider (at 21), the "White" slider (at 225), and balancing the "Mid-tones" slider to darken the image (at 0.85).
2. Increased the "Contrast" +4.
3. Decreased the "Brightness" -2.
4. "Saturation" +8.
5. Selected the pronghorn with the "Magic Wand" and "Lasso" tools.
6. Adjusted "USM" at 150% amount, 0.3 radius, and 0.0 threshold.
7. Deselected all, selected "Save for Web", and adjusted the "Quality" upwards from the original downloaded size of 70kB to 194kB.
Thanks for allowing workshops to be posted. I hope you approve of the result.
Regards
