It is home for many different species of flora and fauna. There is also the largest population of linden tree in whole of Europe.
In the time of the prehistoric Panonian Sea, Fruska Gora was an island.Today it is a beautiful place but unfortunatly it is endangered by human activity,mainly from poachers and illegal tree cuting.
I hope that better days for Fruska Gora will come and the next generations will be able to enjoy some time there as i have enjoyed countless hours there myself, especially this winter day in Decembar 2007.
