| Workshop Note |
Hello Ivan,
You allowed me to provide a workshop.
First of all I want to say (type:-) I like your image as indicated in the critique.
I wondered if I could do something about the overall bluish through changing the white balance. At least that was my first idea. However through some trial and error I decided to adjust the exposure a bit and also to adjust the tone curve instead of the white balance.
Concerning the latter, I changed the graph in an S
shape. I have to say I did change the white balance a little bit as well; made the image warmer.
Finally I sharpened your work.
Quick overview:
1. exposure; made it brighther; not too much to avoid degrading the image
2. tone curve; adjusted the highlights, lights, darks and shadows by using the appropriate slider;fine-tune your S shape!
3. a tad more saturation
4. white balance; a bit warmer
5. sharpened
6. forgot to mention I cropped a bit, to apply the rule of thirds composition wise...
Hope you like it.
Kind regards,
Annick |
