pleiades 30 secs (2)
Poseidon_Simons (369)
I pointed my telescope to pleiades and took a 30 second shot (without a motor) and this is what I got. I am saving money to buy a tripod with a motor and I hope by summer Ill be able to shoot clusters and nebulas

I used The Gimp but I'm sure ps and others are able to do this:
1. duplicateed layer
2. moved it ~2px up and right
3. set transparency mode to substraction (left opacity @100%)

We're done: the 30 sec line is gone.
But be careful: as you can see the paler stars disappeared! Some play with br/contr. and stuff like that and you can leave them visible too.

I hope you like it!
ps. sorry for the frame :)

Cheers,
Andor
