 Cauquen (12) Bass
(502) | I found this guy in Puerto Manzano´s bay, at Nahuel Huapi´s lake. This kind of birds are very tame, so two big ones and four little ones where walking near me on the beach.
This time my notes in english will be little poor, because i really can´t translate the cientific clues about this bird.
I just can say to all of you that this is a Cauquén, from chloephaga family. There are three kinds of cauquenes in patagonia: Cauquén común (chloephaga picta),Cauquén Real (chlophaga poliocephaia) and Cauquen Colorado (chloephaga rubidiceps)
If I learn a little more of techical english maybe i can translate more data for you.
hope you like it!
