There are low cormous plant with basal linear leaves. The flowers are corcus-like, but borne on a distinct green stem.
The Romulea bulbocodium has relatively large flowers, white to lilac, often greenish on the outside and striped with violet, yellow in the throat. The tepals are elliptical, pointed, 25 to 35mm long.
It grows on rocky and grassy habitats, from February to May. It is the common Romulea of the Mediterranean region.
Thanks to Ori (Fragman) who give me the correct name of this plant.

La Romulée bulbocode (Romulea bulbocodium) ressemble à un crocus, dont elle se distingue cependant par son pédoncule floral.
Les fleures sont de 3 cm de diamètre au maximum, à tépales lancéolés, blancs, à gorge jaune et sillonnée de violet.
Elle pousse sur les sols pierreux et dans les garrigues.
