This is the typical Pulsatilla we can find in Valais and some regions in Grisons and the Southern Alps. Its colour is purple and the flower is very heary. It likes dry regions and sometimes covers a whole meadow, which is very impressive. I had the chance to see a lot of them on a High Plateau called Hellela, belonging to the village of Zeneggen.
