This Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) was playing with a feather or maybe was using as bait, I don't know but he was more interested on what he was doing than in me.



Fun Fact:

The call is a harsh croak; they are most vocal during the breeding season, but will call occasionally at any time of the year in territorial disputes or if disturbed.

Using GIMP, I made small adjustments in levels and curves, increased contrast and saturation in an effort to bring out more color.
