Todays posting is of a Common Raven that lives at one of our oil batteries in Jenner. She is perched on a light at the top of our produced water tanks and she is giving me a serious tongue lashing ( see the workshop for the reason ).

I have been absent from TrekNature for about a week, but I did take time to view the gallery every night after work and you have brightened my evenings just before lights out with your marvelous images. Now this posting is to tell you that Lucy and I are headed out camping so I will be absent for the better part of three weeks. We had planned on going down the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway in Oregon but my Lucy is not well so we are staying closer to home. I would like to thank Bob Shannon and Evelynn Smith for their help when I was planning our trip. So after a doctors appointment early this morning the trailer is getting hitched to the truck and off we go to explore nature where ever we end up. I will see you when we return hopefully with some images that can be posted.
