(12716) | “A Special & Single Paradise for Taurus Frog” (Bolkar Mt., Ulukışla, Taurus Range)
Dear Friends, as I said in my previous post, Me and my assistants went to Karagöl Lake, Bolkar Mountain (approx. 3200 asl, Nigde province, Eastern Mediterranean Anatolia) to conduct our project on the population dynamics and breeding biology of Taurus Frog (Rana holtzi which is the endemic to Turkey and this lake, and also strictly under conservation. This elavation is the highest point of the Taurus Mountain Range which is located in SE Mediterranean Anatolia. It is shelter so many endemics in both animals and plants. I will continue to upload some additional shots from here in both abiotic and biotic diversities :).
Today I would like to dedicate this landscape shot of this interesting and beautiful place to one of my beloved and heartfelt friends in TN, Ho Tony (gracious) who is an expert on photographing excellent landscapes to thank to him for his valuable contributions to TN . I hope you can like this Tony :)! I wish you all the best my friend and thanks once more for your significant contributions!
Hoping that you like this shot!
Cheers,
