With the mist came a light rain, and it was a cold time. A friend was with so I gave him my only jacket, and thank goodness my brother brough some kind of emergancy poncho. Even so, it was very cold. I must say, a beautiful sight with it. Along side it came a Mountainsong... a very strange one, before we took off for our hike, someone was playing music that reminds me of mountains. Very strange it was, but it kept playing in my head while the mist would come down harder and harder until we were in the mist. When we almost got to the summit, it was to cold to coninue on.... my friend was becoming hyperthermic, and we were so close.... but it was still a unique time, but cold. I used the cool effect to capture this one. Taken September 16, 2007. I used picasa 2 to resize it. Mark Straub was with me on this hike, but it was a diffrent friend who forgot his jacket. This was taken on the way up Headlee Pass, on Vesper Peak. Remember to always come prepared to the Mountains! Also as Art mentioned, it is important to have a good healthy share of respect too! |

I liked it...so I messed with the contrast, noise, size and a small filter...then signed for you. I love my mountains. I consider myself a mountain man..and if you have ever seen some of videos, maybe you might know..but the mountains are my home and your images are a piece of me as well as what you see....Great work Josh!Not me! You!
