Big Moon Setting (10)

Howard (marhowie) inspired me to want to try a decent moon shot someday. He provided a lot of information with his moon shot here: I'm Mooning U - 101 I don't think I came close to the master's work, but it was fun trying.
I woke up early on the morning of the 20th and saw this big moon setting in my southwestern view. I wasn't able to set my camera up in time to try a shot, but I left it set up just in case. Just in case came the next morning when I found myself waking up early again. This is what I managed. It is tightly cropped. Makes me want to check into getting a doubler to see what that might produce.
I used a tripod, something I haven't done much. I also used a remote. I think this experience gave me a better appreciation for both.
Kind regards,
Dave

ps My hat is off to all of you who manage to find the time to contribute here.

Well, I played with the levels of light and contrasts. A bit of USM and I desaturated it a little. Thanks!
