Near Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island, is a group of small islands popular with kayakers.
I took my canoe out there on Father's Day. As we passed Ada Island, I saw one rocky islet that was noticeably white amidst the grey of the other rocks.
Several photos later, I captured this one gull coming in for a landing.
