This is a view taken from the south shore of Ile Verte, one morning. We were sitting and looking down at the low tide. We saw these Grey Herons fly by and stop... to fish-hunt. For a while they were 5 but I couldn't catch them all in the lens. They stayed there waiting for their prey and I have always thought herons knew how to live.
They stand there and things happen. What could be more zen-like? In fact, in life, we fight all the time to reach our goals, we fight to "climb the ladders" and fulfill our ambitions, we fight with money to get what we want... in fact, we have the impression we control everything whereas it is an illusion.
Things happen, we think them and create them, we "screen" events within our own subjective thinking.
Grey Herons are great reminders for me. And they are beautiful birds.
