I have been showcasing this beautiful animal for quite some time now.As I've said earlier, the chital is the reason for the survival of the tiger, the tiger's staple food is Chitals, even though they have been known to eat even Crocodiles and snakes.Besides, almost any terrestrial vertibrate can be tiger prey and tigers often take large prey which are more abundant.
An analysis of tiger feces at Kanha National Park and the Jim Corbett National Park showed chital hair in over half of the samples.
Wild boar showed up in none, though we do know that they are also eaten by Tigers, but more often than not, tigers and wild boars do not get into confrontations.
