Hello my friends
I'm "jumping" from one small trip to another these days and you could say i'm building up a good stock of photos for winter :))
Last weekend i was away in the mountains and tomorrow i'm leaving again to the countryside in hope for some more good shots. Wish me luck ;)
Here is a quick post of a beautiful
Calopteryx splendens
damselfly [thanks Greg :)] that i took not long ago.
I was particularly pleased with the gorgeous metallic reflection from it's body here and so i will post a
WORKSHOP
with a crop of it's abdomen...Initially i even thought of posting that as an abstract shot just itself :) You tell me if i was right or wrong :)
Take care and thanks for visiting!

I used GIMP to clone out the out-of-focus stem in background. Either way, the photo is outstanding.
