I took this shot this morning out at the falls, the water has decreased dramatically since spring, but the water is still higher than normal over here. I had a difficult time trying to capture this shot because the mosquitoes were ridiculous! My hands are now swollen with bug bites, hope you like it!

I wanted to simplify the composition by eliminating the very bright, out of focus background that competed with the bright yellow of the foreground. I think one can enjoy the textures and colors of the foreground without being drawn back and forth between the two bright areas.
