Hello everyone,

Took a trip to one of my favourite places again last night to here, Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset.
Spent a good while hunting around for a spot i haven't taken any shots from before and finally ended up here after rock hopping a short distance to the foot of Hen Cliff on the eastern side of the bay.
This lone stump of wood caught my eye as i searched around and i thought made for a nice foreground element with Gad Cliff across the bay in the background.
I've written quite alot about this place in many previous postings (i come here alot!), so if you'd like to know a bit more please refer to them.

shot in RAW, remote shutter release, tweak of curves, increased saturation +4, resized, converted to JPEG and sharpened.

Thanks for looking..

more contrast +

I darkened the entire photo a bit and added more contrast in the shadows. I also increased some aspects of the saturation and turned down some other. Also added a very slight vignette.

I used Lightroom for the first time and it's a complete different world compared to Photoshop...everything is changed :) I would have liked to do a couple more things, but since i don't have the PS here, i couldn't.

Hope you'll find it useful :)
