"A FLOWER WASP"

Thanks again to Mr. Haraprasan Nayak from India and one of my BEST friends on TN and in real life I able to correct myself re: the true identity of the species shown here.

This "IS" a flower wasp, possibly a BLACK FLOWER WASP. ( 11:00 AM Calgary time in Canada. 7th. August 2008.)

The note below shall remain "as is" just in case somebody needs to "see" the different types of HOVERFLIES.

For me this is another Hover Fly visiting our Daisies; however, you may want to know the EXACT type. So, be my guest. Once opened, PLEASE click on "SYRITTA" and go down the line to view all the BEAUTIFUL types of Hover Flies.

There was a bee and a FLYING ANT too; all three GRAZING at the same time. Shall post the FLYING ANT another day.

To ENLARGE it please click on the IMPORT.

Members of TN may SUPER ENLARGE this image by "clicking" on the image itself.

I first made the shadow & highlight tool of photoshop the lighten the underexposed areas. Then sharpened a bit and then lastly auto levels. Hope it looks more nice now.
