sharpen and fill

In Photoshop I sharpened the iamge by applying 120% USM (unsharpen mask). Then to reduce the glare of the wall I first selected a suitable potential background colour from below the scorpions tail using th eeye dropper tool. I then selected all the whitish area (wall) using the majic wand tool. From the Edit option is used the fill - disolve - 80%, to fill in the wall with the colour you see. This has kept the shaddow of the scorpion and improved the sharpness, I think.
Hope this is useful.
