Another look at this impressive white bolete,which is often found in southern beech forests.
I have found a considerable number of these Austroboletus at Coal Creek near Runanga.
They seem to grow well in the same areas as the large black bolete Tylopilus formosus.
In the autumn I'm looking forward to getting some better shots of these using my new learned techniques.
