Unfortunately, I did not have much time for nature photography there and did only a few shots in the evening in the sprawling garden of a heritage resort one of my students owns in Jaipur. Needless to say, I was putting up in that resort for the night and spent a nice evening there.
The garden of this place has a variety of birds in it, but it is the Peacock that dominates the scene. I took a couple of pictures of it before the light started fading and here is one of them.
Peacock is the national bird of my country, as you already know. It is a highly protected bird and is seen in large numbers in the states of Rajasthan and Haryana.
