Hi Stefan,
I tried to improve the colors i think there was a bit of a greenish cast. Let me try and summarize the process i used, please let me know what you think or if i need to explain further..
1) create duplicate image
1a) on duplicate image choose Blur-> Average
2) on original click new adjustment layer, threshold,
2a) move slider to left and when there are just a few dark spots on the image, shift-click the blackest (in this case the eye)
2b) move slider to right and when there are just a few white spots on the image, shift-click the whitest (in this case the white left side of the tail).
2c) click cancel on the adjust ment layer you should have a black point and a white point now
3) Create new adjustment layer levels.
3a) select blackpoint in the levels screen, and click on the selected black point in the image..mind the histogram it should not run out on the left too much.
3b) select whitepoint in the levels screen, and click on the selected white point in the image..mind the histogram it should not run out on the right too much (wash out).
3c) select the neutral point on the level screen and click on the color in the average duplicate image
3d) click ok
4) in the layer opacity, change the opacity of the new adjustment layer to your taste (I took 35%) |
