Selected pic for exhibit at Hogle Zoo... (10)

I have been approached by the art director of
Utah's Hogle Zoo
in Salt Lake City, Utah to provide some of my pictures that will be used in a new
Asian Highlands exhibit
that is schedule to open on June 15th. They are working on the interpretive aspect for this exhibit. They will be putting in three 40" LCD touch screens to help our visitors access information about Amur tigers, Amur leopards and snow leopards. In one area they will be discussing the similiarities between Utah and the Amur region where these big cats come from. They will discuss the similar roles of cougars in Utah and the big cats in Asia.
The art director was looking for an image of a cougar in the snow and came across this cougar photo laying on a rock in the snow and asked me for the possibility to use some of my pictures. They would of course give credit to me with the photo.
In that case I was proud that some of my pictures kept the attention and I am glad to be part of such an educational project.
So if you end up to have a chance this summer to go and see the exhibit, you may see some of my cougar pictures as they select this one, and the 2 other cougar pics that I have posted.

Hot spot means snow is melting !!!
The picture was taken at the
Zoo of St-Félicien
in the superb region of Lac St-Jean in Quebec to get some shots of North American species living in their natural habits.
UPDATE: I went to see my pictures at the Hogle Zoo, you can see the final result on the workshop.
