This particular hedgehog started off in broad daylight several weeks in a row. This is quite common with young or sick animals, which are often scared away by older and healthier specimen.
As winter was drawing nearer, my wife put some bread soaked in milk on a platter, which seemed to please him enormously.
One day, we were very astonished to discover the scene shown in the picture. I had just the time to grab a camera and shoot through the dubblel glazed window before this magic moment was over.
The main subjects were unfortunately in the shade. |
