| To bring out some detail in the dark areas of the fox, a contrast mask technique was applied. Then to do both white balance and exposure correction for the snow, I did an auto-levels on the while image. It is important to do the steps in this order because if the auto-levels were done before the contrast mask, the contrask mask would make the snow gray again rather than keep it white. |
