Taking a breather whilst hiking on Table Mountain this little guy came to take a closer look at me. Sun very high, about midday. Cropped, lightened shadow and enhansed colour a little.

Cropped a little off the left to come closer to the 'rule of thirds' and remove some of the left branch. Cloned out the rest of the branch and ran through neatimage, default settings, to remove the noise.

Hi Reinier

Hoop jy hou hiervan

Groetnis

Hi Reinier, I noticed Japie's comment on noise and tried my hand at it in Photoshop. Noise reduction 70%; sharpended the picture and slightly ligtened the shadow. I thought the framing of the subject by the branches and the grass adds to he "dramatic effect" of this miniature monster. Thanks Japie. It looks better to me...?
