 The Frog: 4 in 1 (60) Alex99
(13775) | This is my first shot of a frog in general and my first post of the frog on TN in particular.
This is my first landscape on TN.
This is a first photo with my image on TN gallery.
Finally, probably this is my last summer post on TN.
As usually this summer, (see my note for "True Colours") I with my family have gone for a walk to estuary to take pictures the seagulls. (I should say that this time pictures of seagulls and members of my family were taken.)
All events developed on narrow edge of the coast near the water. My attention was attracted by snake, which was unexpectedly seen by me underfoot. However, it so quickly escaped under snag that I have not had time to take its picture. Then and there from underfoot the frog by size approximately 10 cm darted out. Probably, it was a potential snake's victim. As far as this was my first meeting with a frog after buying my camera, I have decided to shoot it. I have taken some series of pictures, including series of frog portraits close-up.
Hereinafter, the day passed as usually. The family reposed, and I strolled with camera in quest of other objects for the shooting. Such objects were a lot: seagulls, snake (next), dragonflies, spider, landscape.
However, that, what I have seen at the evening on computer, shocked me. On the picture of a frog, I have seen myself, lowered on knees and taken pictures of this frog. I have seen also for my back beautiful landscape: blue sky, sun and sunrays, clouds, trees, green bushes and herb, which during a shooting I could not see. Signifies, when I was shooting the frog, the frog was shooting me (using, by the way, first class "fish eye" lens).
This picture, whose co-author rightfully is the Frog, I consider as a good surprise for me for the whole my summer photo sessions. I have presented the Summer to Nature, Nature has presented me my own image in such original presentation.
Adieu Summer and Welcome Autumn.
With wish excellent autumn pictures to all TN members,
Sincerely yours, Alexei.
