Hook walks the Plank (42) Callie
(7531) | .
Sorry, if I stay with the pirates, as this is what herons are, thieving & conniving birds that will even eat each other’s chicks; & they are just as wily as the freebooters from long ago. Here, Captain Hook is walking the “plank”, his “hook” clearly seen. I love to go flying away on an imaginary trip to Wonderland, or Never Never Land. We share so many tales in different cultures about animals and their interaction with us. It helps us to laugh a bit, even at ourselves. The way Hook is strolling down this branch, determined, intent on what he may spear ahead, the mean gleam in his eye, all these set my imagination running.
I need to point out that the BG is not sky, but water, hence the “strange” blue colour. For species info, see HERE
