 Downy Woodpecker (37) glazzaro
(4565) | This shot was taken in my backyard while I was sitting in a blind (Hide), tripod setup, and VR lens mounted. It was a miserable day with clouds everywhere and the sun would always break out for seconds just enough time to ruin a shot.

My setup when shooting:
1. This was shot in the afternoon, around 12:00 pm.
2. I used a tripod.
3. Setup the branch, loaded peanut butter and seed on the backside away from camera view.
4. Used the Nikon 200mm lens with 1.7 TC for 340mm range, turned off the VR.
5. Went inside my hide and waited for some visitors to show.
6. Focused on anything that would hold still and fired off several shots at once.
7. I was set in manual mode in order to more readily adjust to the changing light.
8. Kept adjusting the Shutter Speed and Aperture to compensate for clouds, shade and light when the sun broke through.
