"My beautiful Machaon (Papilio machaon)".

Sorry for my first note, but this butterfly is not a Machaon!!! it is a "Iphiclides podalirius"!!!

I have looking some information about it and I have seen that both looks like very much and they are possible to be confused.
You can see the difference:
[ "Papilio machaon" ] vs [ "Iphiclides podalirius" ]

This is one of the most beautiful common butterfly that I have photographed.
Very tipical in "La Mancha", almost in the middle of Spain.

Some info:
Food: Fruit trees
Flight period: One or two broods in May/June and August/September.
height of Flight: 0.m - 2000.m

Hi Jarum.
I used a filer called Despeckle and after that I give it a dose of Neat Image. It's not perfect but better I think. I hope you like it.

I really like this photo. The BG colours are just great, but it was very noisy so I decided to blur it.
I also croped the photo to show this beautiful butterfly better.
