This shot have been taken in Bushy Park, definitely one of my favourite places in London.
The dragonfly have been sitting on a wooden bank of small pond. The insect have been doing something that looked like a handstand. It's body was almost vertical. I've never seen something like that before.
I tired to get lower POV, but there was muddy bank nearby and quite many people, so getting shoes off wasn't an option ;-)
Anyway, I don't know what kind of dragonfly it is. Maybe I'll try find something later.
I choose that picture because it's the only one, I've taken so far, that goes quite well with this title. If you've ever been to London you know this phrase well ;-) |

The highlights seem way too bright to me, especially the large area of wood which seems to glow and really distracts the eye from the dragonfly.
I used photoshop Shadow/Highlight adjustment and used values of 11% amount, 50% tonal width and 30 pixel radius on the highlights. I have no idea what these figures mean, I just moved the sliders until the image looked right! :)
