Capturing Fall (15)
SunToucher Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor/Gold Note Writer [C: 2344 W: 206 N: 2784] (10175)
The last couple of weeks, I've been out capturing fall. I am trying to capture it in a different way then I would normally capture nature, just to practise my eye. I caught myself a few times to return to the more familiar way. But I think I pulled it of a few time to come back with something 'special'.

I was on my way to a little lake and walked by this patch of June Berry trees (Amelanchier lamarckii) I found the view interesting and the way the canopy filtered the light.

I've been a little bit more creative with my PP work on this photo, and I am not really sure if this will be appreciated. If not, just see the other version that I have created in the workshop. In this one I did the normal conversion from RAW to JPEG, with some white balance adjustments. I adjusted levels, curves and saturation. I also cloned out a really strange black spot. The twist to this version is the blur I added, just to give a little more focus on the center of the photo. The WS doesn't have the blur, but does have the adjustments on levels, curves and saturation but less of everything.

Please let me know what you think of this kind of photo and treatment....be honest.
