![Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Note Writer [C: 314 W: 0 N: 352]](http://i1.treknature.com/misc/g-n-g.gif) (1349) | It started to rain while we were at lunch at our friends' house today, friends' house is within Waitakere Ranges Protection area so she had all native plants and trees surrounded her house.
I was looking out to the sea, hoping the rain will stop and I might be able to go down (5mins drive) to take some shots, just then I saw the raindrops on this fern, from where I was sitting, it look really great! So I took a couple of shots. The background is the seaviews. Only resize and post it.
Note: I did some cropping for the photo, please check out workshop.

The Waitakere Ranges and Foothills Protection Project is looking at whether the natural and landscape values of the Waitakere Ranges and foothills are adequately protected in the long-term and, as a result, investigating what methods could be used to provide better protection.
