We went to Skadar Lake. I read many articles about this miraculous lake before trip to Montenegro. I remembered well Cedryk's enthusiasm for this place. I knew that it is one and only place in entire Europe where pelicans live. I was ready to meet hundreds species of birds, reptiles and insects which live around this lake. So why I was dissapointed? Because [thanks to our stupid guides] we saw nothing! After arrival we had got hour of free time and I crossed road and railroad to take few pictures [including this one]. During this operation I was almost flattened by train :-) Never mind. Our guides called us and we boarded something which was called 'boat' by them. It looked like different pieces of plastic glued together by scotch tape. We sailed out, arrived to small island with old prison, then sailed to small gulf, than went to Albanian waters and then - surprise! - returned to our home port. I was really pissed off! During this stupid 'trip' we saw few shags. And nothing more. Imagine visit in some kind of museum full of Royal Treasures. You go there and only thing which they show you is old, crappy, copper ring. It was similiar situation in beautifull Skadar Lake. Anyway, I'm glad that I took at least this picture.
