I saw this Butterfly in Sentosa Butterfly park. My perspective was such that I could hardly do anything to avoid the harsh Background. I have reposted the picture after unsharp mask and noise reduction.

Here's what i tried:
1. Adjusted levels
2. Layer level adjustment to lighten the butterfly only.
3. Brightness increase
4. Saturation of yellow and red, increased just a little.
5. Sharpen 0.9 at 110%
6. Framed.

I didn't feel like i needed to do anythign to the background.
