Hi!
I just felt there was some excess blue in the photo and that the sharp sunlight darkened the foreground a little bit. What I in did photoshop was:
1) Created a layer with curves. I then selected the blue channel and dragged the curve down, taking some blue colour out of the photo. I did the same with green.
2) Created a layer with levels and raised the light level in the dark areas.
3) Brushed over the sky and river to remove the effect of the layers, as I wanted to leave the sky and river as they were.
