Today’s shot is a duck and it is put in Callies theme
Just missed shots,
take a look there and you maybe get a good laugh. This picture fits well in that theme.
This duck was coming far away from the other side of the river and I follow him in viewer, he had the direction at me and when he was a couple of meters from me I pull the trigger, and he almost filled up the whole frame and was very sure I got a great picture but what I forgot was the bush with branches close to me. I was going to delete this picture a several times but I keep it as a reminder not only to have the eye on the target, keep an eye on the environments too.
It’s a perfect picture to some clone training, so be my guest ;-)

Technique:

Canon 70-300/4.0-5.6 IS USM
ISO 200, Raw-format, Manual exposure, Al-servo auto focus.
Convert, Levels, Contrast, Crop, resized to 800 pixels, Smart Sharpen on the B/W channel in lab-colours. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 for PP

I've tried my best to remove the more distracting elements of your shot ;)
