Pink Butterfly Orchid or "Orchis Papilionacea" has a fairly short blossoming period from mid February to mid April.Its generally at its peak end of February beginning of March and is the most common of orchids in Israel.
Found from the north down to the center of the country and generally found in the undergrowth or grows in sparce forest areas.A close-up of its flower can be seen here
