Great note to go with this well taken picture! If they didn't exist, one would have to invent them (I didn't know the name and thought at first you made that up, lol). He/she looks a little grouchy....

I never know all this useful unformation about a plant that grows abundantly in my own yard (even if neglected and stepped on). Great close-up view!

Excellent macro of this nicely "groomed" fly - super detail and held still enough for a perfect pose.

very dramatic formation, but what I see is not a wave, but the scull of some giant monstrous beast......

At least you have flowers in winter - there is nothing that grows where I live, even some of the evergreens need to be covered up.
Love the pov - look like they are illuminated from inside ..........

I find some great painterly qualities in this shot. The low pov is quite dramatic, as are the clouds. Have you thought about dropping the horizon a little?

Hello Peter!
Wow - three super shots in one!
As for prostrating: I probably would just to catch my breath: this looks like quite a climb!

A very pleasing composition, and from the note I see it took a bit of experimenting to get the lighting right.

My wife loves ladybugs, likes taking macros - if she sees this drama, she'd be sad. Kudos for a great capture and astonishing details!

OK, so what is next: an underwater picture? Is your camera waterproof? Great action shot, they are indeed funny to watch. Here we get some diving ducks during migration which can swim great distances under water. Try to catch them: you never know where they re-surface, and by the time you focus, they dove again....
