Wonderful shot - brilliant timing and sharp focus, and very effective shutter speed to capture just the right amount of movement in these incredibly fast wings!
Thanks for sharing - great work.
Brilliant capture, perfect timing and excellent composition - such an interesting action shot too - and the side on pose is very unusual. I love it!
Beautiful shot! The little dash of warm sunlight really makes it, great composition, very calming....
Wooooh well done getting published - that's great, you must be well chuffed - "work satisfaction" they call it!! This is another lovely shot, great colours, well spotted too, and you handled the exposure / use of ND grad well as I'm sure the sky must have been in danger of quashing those bits of colour in the heath. Worth the cold hands and feet!
TFS as ever,
ps will you still talk to us when you're famous?! ;-)
Not sure why this hasn't received any comments - I think it's a lovely picture, very nicely captured the feeling of movement in the stream - almost dream-like.
Thanks for sharing,
Gorgeous shot my friend - well worth the early and cold (and not yet fully sober?!) start to not only get to see this sunrise, but also to capture it so well. It's the positioning of the tree and the log that really make this - the log especially - the colours and shapes and reflection of this alone would probably have made a lovely shot in its' own right!
Stunning colours - and really nicely taken. Great work and great start to another year of fine Paul H shots! :-)
What a glorious scene!! The composition is very nice here, the reflections and the sky balancing each other well - and the exposure is spot on. An incredibly beautiful mountain, I'd say!
Well done - thanks for sharing.
600 is an amazing achievement - and a good shot to celebrate it! The little robin is such a beautiful bird - this one almost seems to be posing (stand up straight, chest out!) for your shot - lovely!
The warm low sun colours and the uncluttered background really make this shot stand out. Nice work.
Keep them coming! TFS
Another Paul classic - you have a great eye for the two key things any landscaper worthy of mention needs - composition (leading lines, foreground interest, rule of thirds - this one for instance could be a great example of that) and lighting (never see flat light on any of your images). The light on this one makes the shot - that lovely stormy contrast between the low golden sun and the typically English clouds... So mate, again, very well spotted and executed! Keep them coming!
TFS and HAPPY NEW YEAR - go easy on the tipple, I won't be expecting any sunrise shots from you tomorrow ;-)
What a great, funny photo of this adorable little frog!! Indeed, may his smile catch on and spread a little new year joy around all our TN friends for a prosperous and healthy New Year for one and all.
TFS, and my best wishes to you and yours!
