You have really made the most of an overcast day with this rather striking mono shot.
The moody skiesat the top and the dark fissures of the rock seperated by the white flash of the retreating surf really works well.
it was nice to meet you too mate.
lovely macro shot, your cybershot has really shone here!
nice vivid tones, excellent sharpness and details and perfectly captured quirky pose. I love the enquisitive look in his slightly tilted head.
Hi anna, just catching up with some of your work.
This is a most interesting speciman you show us here. I dont know alot about birds but i certainly havent ever seen one like this. What beautifully vivid plumage it has.
Although your cybershot has tried admirably, it is unfortunately not very sharp and looks like it has had considerable noise reduction.
Still a very worthwhile and interesting shot.
beautiful layered composition, with awesome rich colours, i love the orange and red of the sun against the deep purple sky.
very nice find, what an intersting looking insect. lovely bokeh, but it does look a little bit soft.
you have put your macro to good use here with this well framed shot, i love the low lying mist and glimpses of distant mountain tops giving an ethereal feel to the shot.
For me the tree tops in the bottom right are slightly distracting, i think id rather see all of them, or not at all.
this really is like an impressionist painting, with lovely brush strokes through thick layers of well worked oil paint.
nice image i like the strong contrasts of the blues and reds. I really like the reflection, broken by the ripples in the ice.
Nice shot of a really interesting area. I like the layered composition of the shot although it feel a little cut off to the right hand side.
Also a grad filter might have helped you retain more details in the sky.
Lovely light captured here with great clean details. I love the elongated shadows, and the feeling of unspoilt nature really comes through.
It would be nice if there was something going on in the sky, but you cant have it all, well rarely anyway!
