You got some artifacts here (due to the jpg compression?) and seems that the picture was out of focus, but else a good picture of this nice and slow animal.
Very nice pic with many details. Also an interesting note. Sometimes it is beleived that by having the insects those colours you mention, the animals can recognize that they are poisonous, but you state it well: one must be tried, then the animal knows.
Very good DOF. It can be seen how the worm has eaten this leaf, also a piece of the other one at its bottom right is missing.
Nice pic. Whats is the 'rose' made of? I mean what type of stone or something. Deade nature is also nature, at least that's what I consider it to be. What size does it has?
Perhaps the lion knows that it is too dificult to hunt such a big animal, worst when they are many and he is just one. Very nice colours. Was it dusk or dawn?
I like Leon Trippaers (letr) idea as much as Lesley's one of this picture. I like the strong defocused background because it has very soft colours that help to focus the eyes on the main subject: the butterfly. But I would prefer all the flowers to be in focus, because they are also beautiful.
Very nice. I like the many greens here and the drops of water on the small leaves, giving the idea of a humid weather and a fresh morning. Good DOF.
A big tree for a desert. Where do it gets its water? Nice composition, red/brown soil, green tree and blue sky, with two passersby posing for you.
