Salut Horia,

Iti multumesc inca o data si iti urez Sarbatori Fericite si La Multi Ani!

Numai bine,
Eddie

Hello Alexei,

First of all I would like to thank you for your Christmas greetings. I'm happy that you chose this picture to express your feelings. It's a great idea to post an image of a Blue Spruce with beautiful cones as this picture is meant as a Christmas card! I can't critique a picture that is dedicated to all TN members or at least that bears your kind wishes of well but I'm happy to give this wonderful picture the 100th. point! It definitely deserves it as it doesn't only convey the idea of Christmas but it also speaks to our sense for aesthetics!
Please accept my sincere Christmas greetings and wishes of well! May the coming year bring you happiness and success in all your endeavors and health to enjoy all of them!
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Hello Ivan,

A very clean and efficient composition! The Mountain Argus stands out perfectly from the surroundings as you took care not to include anything in your picture's background! I wish the legs of the butterfly were more visible but this isn't a mistake. Just my preference! I like the way you used the OOF yellow flower in the background to enhance your composition. The denser details in the butterfly's wings draw the attention to it! Well done! Thank you!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Hello Antoine,

This is a picture with very good technical quality! It is very sharp and the subject stands out from the OOF background! The colors are very good and well saturated! I only have one complaint about the composition: I always prefer to have more empty space in front of the subject than behind it. The square format is very appropriate for this kind of compositions! You chose the frame very well! Thank you for sharing!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Hello Loot,

I really enjoyed your notes! This is a very interesting story! Do you think the herd would have eventually attacked your car if you would have stand there? Or would you have been safe inside the car? I've heard buffaloes and hippos kill more humans in Africa than lions do!
You captured a fine picture of these magnificent animals! You surely had all their attention! I like the warm and saturated colors and the soft shadows! It's interesting to see the different shapes of the horns in juveniles and adults! Thank you for sharing!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Hello John,

The picture was well composed and the space around the heron correctly distributed! The colors look natural and the contrast was well adjusted! The frame compliments your shot!
I found it very interesting when I read your PP workflow! It was well written, detailed and informative! Thank you!

Eddie

Hello Alexei,

This is really outstanding! In spite of being a macro, this picture has a huge DOF! I love the vibrance and the way the colors shine. It's also nice to see that the white in the butterfly isn't perfect white but a slightly buttery color tone! The picture is incredibly sharp without presenting strange contrast artifacts at the outlines. And this at ISO 400! Against the perfectly blurred background, everything stands out nicely! A really great picture with great PP! Thank you!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Hello Antoine,

This is so delicate and beautiful! The composition is clean and efficient. I love the way you distributed the empty space around the subject! As far as I know, this butterfly is a Comma (Polygonia c-album) and you captured it perfectly on a very beautiful flower! The OOF background isolates the butterfly from the rest. A very good picture! Thanks for sharing!

Eddie

Hello Jorge,

This is so very sharp! I can almost see the bones through the legs of the bird! I like the simple composition and the perfect background makes the robin stand out clearly! The DOF was well controlled to keep most part of the subject in sharp focus! I wish the bird was pointing the beak to the side. Well done! Thank you!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie
