Hi Ian,no mosquitos, and this is a very good news..ehehe...so it's nice to visit this place without disturbing insects, and the watch to the top of this impressive tree is lovely, made in the best light and perfect sharpness everywhere, the imposing perspective is a winner! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
you make me "giggerig" (a Swiss german word for envious or curious) with the picture from the Hill National Park. In photography an object should convey or do something, which trees sometimes don't. But this tree ... Great shot.
Hi Ian,very lucky meeting with a lot of finches on the tree, excellent sharpness, especially on the alone on the top and bright colors too. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
Hi Ian,fantastic example of the intelligence of the nature..ehehe...great way to drink from the water made by this fig tree, the very difficult location isn't a problem as i can see for the tree, original post perfect for this website very sharp and bright! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
Hi Ian,there aren't a lot of places like that,it's surely interesting to see these kind of fossils,a perfect capture with we can see the best of what remains of the past, well done! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Hi Ian,a bit distant,so the sharpness isn't the best, but still a good capture of this interesting species not often seen on TN,useful post and note too. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
The bird is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Brolga. The eye contact is great. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice dya.
Of course it's impossible to identify a species from just one photo, many times it's not possible to identify from photo at all, but I guess you photographed a Trametes, probably Trametes versicolor (L.) Lloyd, a very common species with cosmopolitan distribution. Anyway, microscopic analysation is a must for properly identifying this kind of fungi.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
Hi Ian,very nice face to face with this species not often seen on TN,a perfect capture despite the distance and the difficult location too. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
Hi Ian,the colors of crocodile and of the rocks are the same, but this isn't a well done camouflage..ahahha...magnificent capture of big one despite the distance, the sharpness is the best as possible! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
