Hi Ron,
it's confusing, the many Tenebrionid beetles you can find in the Steppes and even deserts. This one I would call Pimelia>/I> sp. not knowing any better. The darklings are difficult to shoot, the uniform blackness does'nt help. But you did it just right.
Thanks for your comment on my picture. I will not post pictures on a regular basis because I don't have enough that might interest the TN experts.
My best regards to you, Dietrich

Hi Laszlo,
I don't comment on your postings but I admire your work, the many fungi species you present us like this Russula (never heard of that one before ...)
Thanks for your nice words. I will not contribute regularly since I have not enough material to show to the admired group of TN experts.
Sincerely, Dietrich

Hi Ram,
I still admire your rich contribution to this site even if I rarely comment on your postings. This Barbet is a real hit! By the way, I am 5 years older than you, March 21 is my birthday and it is celebrated all over the world :-) - as Nowruz !
But no more cheap bragging, I don't want to be confounded with some other guy much in the news lately ...
Thanks for your nice words. I will not contribute regularly since I have not enough material to show to the admired group of TN experts. My material is being prepared to go to a national agency that is publishing scientific books on various groups of animals of Switzerland.
Sincerely, Dietrich

Hi Ori,
I always appreciate your interesting botanical insights even if I don't comment them often. But I bought your book, "Flowers of the Eastern Mediterranean" . What a pleasure !
My compliments and my best regards to you, Dietrich

Hi Laurens,
niiiice, this Red Longhorn beetle, you could even count the hairs on the elytra, but the picture is a little dark. Thanks for your incredible amount of entomological goodies you put on TN.
With my best regards, Dietrich

Liebe Anne,

Hi Silvio,
this is a really big contribution to TN. It is the most phantastic butterfly I know and you caught it so well! Your detailed comment is very welcome. Compliments,
Dietrich

Hi Luciano,
I have done a shot of the same species of Dragonfly like you did, but no way will I present mine on TN after having seen yours :-) You choose a supoerb angle, all of a sudden the term "Dragon" makes a lot of sense! Great job.
Best regards, Dietrich

Hi Ron,

you made this colorless butterfly really stand out in the green environment, and this without a flash. Good job, my compliments. Thanks for your comment on my similarly colorless dragonfly picture.
Best regards, Dietrich
