Great low pov, lovely detail and composition with a nice pose to boot. Good work, thanks for posting.

Isn't this incredible, what a piece of art! A good composition, although probably a tad too central for my taste. The detail of the grass nest is great and I love the bg, it's just a shame the birds head is in the shade.
Thanks for posting.

Perfect! The colours, the detail, the composotion, the bg. It really is pretty faultless, well I suppose the only fault is that it isn't mine *lol*. Great work, thanks for posting.

Lovely lovely work, it just screams summer to me. The haziness of the shot, the muted summer colours and it's beautifully composed.
Thanks for posting.

This is a beauty, and definitely a Lynx spider.
Stunning detail and the white petals make the perfect bg. Stunning work, thanks for posting.

Your image is very pleasing to the eye, lovely colours, and the dof works incredibly well.
Nicely composed, thanks for sharing.

This is nice, I really like the colours especially the purple and greens. It's a shame he's standing where he is on the leaf as there seems to be a bit too much room to the right, yet cropping the leaf wouldn't work ...
Lovely detail, thanks for posting.

Such a pretty image, incredibly subtle yet it has a really strong impact. The colours are just stunning.
A perfect composition, I really like this image.
Thanks for posting.

Hello Jennifer, welcome to TN. This is a very pretty capture; I love the green and brown tones a lot.
I would like to make a couple of suggestions. Firstly your images should be a tad larger (all relevant image sizes are on the left of the screen when you first upload your image), this way it is easier for people to comment/critique your image as they can see exactly what is going on.
Secondly, an informative note is generally required here as 'The underlying theme of TrekNature is learning more about the world through nature photography'. Most members here look for a note, they need to read what your pic is about or why you came to take it, and for a lot of them, as a rule, if there is no note they won't stay for too long.
And finally try and critique other memberís images. It can be quite daunting at first but believe me once you start looking at an image you like, and trying to figure out what to say you'll gradually start to notice a few faults as well: glaring white patch in the corner, distraction of bridge in the background, sea level isn't quite straight. And this in turn will help you as a photographer as you'll begin to look for these same distractions etc... when taking your own images.
Oh I hope I haven't gone on too much, don't know when to stop sometimes ;o)
Anyway, a belated welcome wish to TN, look forward to seeing more of your work.
-Julia.
