Great to drop by after such a long time!I Hope I find you well. We've had a strange winter this year (if you can call it that!) just seems to have gone from autumn to spring. Looks like we'll have water shortages this coming summer.A lovely image, very relaxing and i like how soft the texture is. Take care my friend.
He really is an impressive looking bird.....standing proud! It looks larger than life and that red ringed eye is just amazing. Been a while since I last visited.Take care.
An original capture! I really like the contours of the snow and how you have captured the areas of light and shadow. Beautiful in its simplicity!
Long time no see! You've caught a lovely speciman of Ophrys carmeli. There is a species similar down in the woods by my house. Haven't managed to get a good image of it yet as it is always in amongst the grass.Would appreciate help with the name of the flower in my latest image. Take care.
A real sense of damp, moist undergrowth in your image.Certainly an interesting looking mushroom but sadly I do not know its name.Mushroom season here is generally quite short as we don't have constant rains to keep the ground moist.Nice to meet you.
A shame there isn't a note to share the moment but that doesn't take anything from the image itself which is very good.Cleverly caught with them perched on the stick.....great detail of the pollen on their back. Nice to meet you.
This is areal eye-catching capture my friend:
- Mainly neutral colours but then a splash of colour with that blossum.
- The grasshopper almost doing a tight-rope act, exposed and uncamouflaged
Great quality of detail...well done.
You have caught a clever combination of contrasts in this one. The flower in the foreground healthy and lively and the barren and rugged mountain range at back. Cracking quality of detail! I agree with your note.....I think we all need a bit of a rest from the recent events!
A beautiful image of your wilderness and I admire how your imagination and memory was sparked by the recent snowfall. The atmosphere of the image is so calm and pleasant. I am a fan of winter and even over here I wait and hope for the experience of a decent "snowfall" up north. Last year I was lucky and I hope for the same this year.Take care and my best wishes. David
Wow, not a spot of wind in the air from seeing that mirror like water. Must have been a very quiet and tranquil moment and a good chance to get a look at wildlife. The reflected light was well handled....nice work.
